AG EMPLOYEES HAPPIER THAN MOST

 A recent US study has found that employees in the farming sector have one of the highest levels of job satisfaction. The 2010 Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index found that 91% of agricultural employees were satisfied with their jobs. This is a very high score for an industry typically known for its hard work & with a reputation for being a dangerous occupation. The survey also highlighted that most enjoyed their occupation as they got to do hands-on work outdoors & had the satisfaction of knowing they are helping produce food for others.
