IT'S A CRIME TO MINE THE LIVERPOOL PLAINS

Did you know that the Liverpool Plains produces enough raw materials in one year for...
Meg & Shell in front of Parliament House
  • 365 million loaves of bread (that’s one million loaves a day)
  • 62.5 million packets of pasta
  • 144 million bottle of beer
  • 5.4 million packs of muesli
  • 8 million litres of sunflower oil
  • 58 million boxes of cornflakes
  • 276 million pairs of jeans
  • 5.5 billion pairs of socks
  • 886 million bath towels
  • Along with 233,000 tonnes to sorghum to feed cattle, pigs & chickens
Unfortunately all of this production is at risk due to coal mining & coal seam gas projects in the area.
